Pasta Fresca

Pasta Fresca is a made-to-order pasta bar that strives to nourish the community with delectable, quickly prepared pasta dishes in a contemporary environment. All pasta is made in-house on display along with homemade sauces and locally sourced fresh ingredients. Italian beverages, salad, and gelato are also offered. Pasta Fresca’s goal was to have a website that exuberated their mission of serving contemporary Italian cuisine in a fun and interactive way to their customers.

Logo and Favicon

The Pasta Fresca Wordmark is in the typeface, Sail. The small intricacies such as the fine ascenders nod to the different pasta shapes and sizes. For example, the accent on the stem of the letter “p” visually equates to angel hair pasta. Additionally, the serifs add to the playful yet authentic, traditional brand qualities of Pasta Fresca.

Style Guide

EXTRACT: A responsive website that shared mission of a contemporary twist on Italian dishes while focusing on Italian traditions and values, such as the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients.
ILLUMINATE: Small touches such as a photo carousel, bring the viewer through how their food is made from start to finish.
RADIATE: A website that uses warm and inviting photography and color palette that relates to the brand’s sense of togetherness and importance of traditional values. Additionally, the information is displayed in a clear and user-friendly manner.
